Biography

 

Evelyn grew up in Co Kildare, Ireland and gained a degree in Drama Studies and English Literature from Trinity College Dublin before training in Musical Theatre at Guildford School of Acting, graduating in 2012.

 

Theatre credits include an eight month tour of France and Belgium with Emerald Isle Theatre Company, creating the role of Colette in Uprising with Smashing Times Theatre Company (Project Cube Dublin and Northern Irish tour), Little Red in Red Riding Hood the Musical with Talisman Theatre Company (Irish tour), Red in Red Riding Hood's Dangerous Christmas Adventure (Mill Theatre Dublin), Lydia Bennet and Caroline Bingley in Pride and Prejudice, Puck in A Midsummer Night's Dream (both Chapterhouse Theatre Company, UK / Ireland tour) and Mrs Barn Owl in The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark (Blunderbus Theatre Company, UK tour).

 

2016 has seen Evelyn reprise her role in The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark at the DUCTAC Theatre, Dubai, play Helen in the dark monologue 'In One Breath' as part of Testimonies (Smashing Times) and create the role of Alexis in The Woman is Present: Women's Stories of 1916 (Smashing Times).  She wrapped on the short film 'The Ladies' with Alice Productions in July, and is currently performing in Glamour Girl at the Maltings Arts Theatre, St Albans until October 1st.

 

Screen credits include TV commercials for Aldi and Educogym, corporate videos for One Productions, feature film Dark Pale, and the shorts 'Sojourn,' 'Trespass,' 'Doling' and 'The Ladies.'

 

As a singer, Evelyn has been featured in The Break-away Cabaret, Connecting Musicality and Jane Austen in London, a special collaboration with American composer Amanda Jacobs.

Evelyn will play Princess Twinkle Toes in 'Jack and the Beanstalk' at the Mill Theatre, Dublin in December 2016.
